/o/tasks/task

Overview

Returns a single task record (or selected subtask result flow) for the requested task ID.

Authentication

Pass api_key or auth_token as a query parameter, or send countly-token as a header. See Authentication.

Permissions

• Requires read access to feature core.
• app_id is required for non-global users by read validation rules.

Request Parameters

report_name	String	Export/report file name when present.
app_id	String	Task app context.
creator	String	Task creator member ID.
start	Number	Task start timestamp (ms).

data	String or Object	Task result payload (format depends on task type and storage mode).

Impact on Other Data

• Read-only endpoint.

Operational Considerations

• Returned payload can be large for heavy export/report tasks.
• Response structure varies by task type.
• In taskgroup flows, requesting a missing subtask_key can trigger parent rerun side effects.
